I was seriously going to text you and be like, "sorry. :(" But honestly, coming in second on AI is almost ALWAYS a better deal than coming in first.

That being said: I'm sad we don't have the first gay American Idol. However, Kris is just precious.

yeah, i was really okay with it. i mean, there's no way he's NOT going to get a record deal. and he's been the most talked about out of all of them, so he really didn't need to win.

I think, being a Kris fan, I didn't even let myself IMAGINE that he would win, so it was kind of insane. I'm so happy for everyone. And OMG ADAM AND KISS WAS EPIC. As was the Kris/Adam/FUCKING QUEEN thing. American Idol is crazy.

you know, i think i would have been the same way, if i were rooting for kris. i'm really happy too! i love them both. hahaha, i totally didn't realize that was a kiss song, so i didn't know that he was going to be singing with them! it was insane. and queen! (adam finally sang queen on stage, my life is pretty much complete.) they had so many big name stars on tonight, it's crazy.

You know what I was excited by? THE GOLD PLATFORM BOOTS!!! And KISS. But mostly the boots. And the birdcage he was wearing. And the sly look he gave right before KISS came out. AND QUEEN. And the look the guitarist gave Adam like, "DAMN, kid. You are so awesome I don't know what to say!"

I am excited to see him on tour. And to see what his album will be like, because I am 100% sure it will be made of awesome.

YES. those boots were insane! lol, birdcage. i was thinking of how to describe it, and that really fits. haha yes, that look he gives when he sings "me and the boys will be playing all night," with the eyebrow raise and everything, that was pretty awesome. and yeah, you can tell he was really impressed with adam!

yes, it has to be! i cannot wait to hear and see him live, it's going to be amazing.
