Hey, sorry to bother you, but I didn't quite understand that instruction, nor what exactly it does [even though it looks way different in the images] Any help would be great thanks!

No problem! Make sure your base layer is selected, then go to Layer>Duplicate Layer. Do that again. Now you should have 3 copies of your base. Set the blend mode of the top two copies to Screen. (You change that by clicking on the drop-down box in the layer pallete that says 'Normal')

What it does is lighten the image. If your base is already pretty light, that step may be unnecessary.

I hope that helped! It's kind of hard to explain without being able to actually show what I'm talking about. ^_^
