twenty three; here's the November Super Surprise!
It's the 10th of November, and as I promised, here is the November Super Surprise! A total of twenty five colourings (+ 4 unreleased as well as 1 wip)! This is my second colouring compilation, from August to November. Since I am resuming the second semester of college in mid-November, I believe it's wise that I post the colourings in here before I leave. If you are a frequent watcher of my deviantArt or my Tumblr, most of these colourings have appeared. Well... as individual and group posts, but never as a whole collection, right? I like to keep stuffs and reveal it altogether so here's the November Super Surprise! ENJOY.
The November Super Surprise features a lot of Kaname (alone, with Yuuki or with Takuma). There's also a Zero from chapter 50. As usual, Kuroshitsuji and Pandora Hearts always make their entrances. Bride of the Water God featuring Soah and TOXIC featuring Louis Ogami make their on-off appearance. The unreleased colourings are colourings that I did but never formally post it anywhere. More details on respective colourings. I also feature a work in progress, that's meant to be colouring #24 but that's not the case. Perhaps you are wondering why?

If last time I coloured Loukas, now, it's time for my favourite character to shine: LOUIS OGAMI! I'm sort of sad that TOXIC ended its serialization but I am excited for the upcoming scanlation releases. Whenever TZA release chapters of TOXIC, I'm one of the fangirls that squeal in delight, dance in wonder and scream like a maniac. Sometimes I wish my bookstore sell series from Avarus but I keep seeing Zero-Sum series as well as GFantasy series and if I may add, Aria, as well? (That's because I saw Magnolia.)

Texture added for effects. Despite looking similar to Oz, his build is quite different. I keep wondering how old Jack is during the flashback scenes?

Another added texture. I added a white border around it but removed it since I felt weird after a while. I wanted to colour the entire panel but that means redrawing the part where Oz covered Jack, so I cropped it.

The second panel is a request. I'm sorry for the lateness! The first panel is the replacement for the second panel since I thought Vincent looked proper in the first panel, unlike the second panel. (It means his face is more defined that the second panel.) As of the addition of Oz, well, I posted this in Tumblr and there's a cool feature known as PhotoSet. Basically, multiple images can be places in various positions to make a good photoset. Considering that the events where these three panels occured at the same time, it just fit snuggly.

I realize that the flowers are water lilies after reading the first volume of Bride of the Water God. I always wanted to keep a collection of Bride of the Water God, and it is extremely beautiful indeed in paper. I managed to get the first volume while bawling at the remaining seven volumes on the shelf since it's too expensive if I want to but the entire stack of books. (A volume cost around $30.40 each. Multiply that by 8.) Although I also found Kaoru Mori's Otoyomegatari (Young Bride's Stories). It's a hardcover and more expensive but it's darn beautiful but I didn't get it since I wanted BOTWG from the start. (It's $40.10 each.)

Since I'm not a fan of Zero, there's zero (no pun intended) interest in wanting to colour him. However, since a few of my commenters (and friends) are Zero's fans, well, this is dedicated to all of you. I know I spam excessively with Kaname but at least one Zero is good enough, eh? I probably won't do this again due to low motivation but if I do, I'll give my best shot on colouring him!

Second version of the colouring two steps below. I never planned to colour Yuuki. (I don't like her -- at all.) However, it keep bugging me! I decided to start afresh and colour again. This is how it turned out. :)

A heated moment occur in my Tumblr about this panel but I don't want to talk about it.
I adore this panel like how I adore nachos with cheese (YUM!) but cleaning the screentones make the opposite effect. When I don't like something, the rest won't even look right, no matter what others say. Although I received notes (and comments) about this panel which lightened up my depressed mood, it's still not a favourite. If only there's a kind person who can retrace the lineart, I might give this panel a second chance.

I have to admit that tankoubon version looked cleaner for lines and screentones but I wanted a bigger version of this panel. Besides, I refuse to redraw the hair and remove the text bubbles. Other than that, back in my scanlating days, I kept this panel (along with a few others) for future colouring purposes. Glad it actually worked out after several years.

I wish there's a time when these two will be together again. Aidou, as well. I always feel Takuma and Aidou are much closer to Kaname than Kain and Ruka.

A recolouring of the same panel featured in the last colourings compilation, but even better and bigger. As for the wall of text, it's a nod to my series of short oneshots. The first two are 'Of Peace and War' and 'Of Truth and Lies'. The other titles are just random titles but perhaps they would be used if I ever think of starting up writing fanfiction again. I am focusing on my original series, La Fierte.

I forgot about this one's existence. When I started my life as a college student, I brought my new laptop and left behind my dad's old laptop. I didn't transfer everything from the old laptop to the new laptop so I didn't realize a few colourings I left behind. It's already finished but I didn't post it anywhere at all. I thought it'll be cute to post it here instead. :D
This is coloured using the LQ scan and I'm lazy enough not to clean it properly. I posted on Tumblr, that's all. I wanted to colour Sara cover on chapter 76. Look forward to Mousou Scans' release. Sara's hair is such a pain to redraw and staring at it makes me spin in distress but it does give me enough motivation to plan on colouring her in future planning. HEHE.

Supposedly the 24th colouring for the surprise but it didn't make it. It's difficult colouring something that isn't your favourite but I am hoping this one will be finished eventually and posted on the next batch. I can't figure out what Akatsuki's suit is suppose to reflect but I shall figure it out anyway. I suppose when my dislike over that certain fandom dies off, I will take a look at this colouring and continue with an open heart. Until then, it will be on hold until another another time.
