Then they must be using something else. "Trains" must be some kind of code for whatever they are using to get people to come here.

That's right. Similar to the barrier in the sky; it looks very difficult to break. I'm not sure we have the right equipment.

We believed the trains were capable of passing through this force field, because it is the common form of transportation for arrivals.

That's what it seems like. We're still investigating the barrier, but if we find out anything else, I'll be sure to post here.
