If dreaming is an artform, you're becoming quite the artist. Could you always do that - just decide to continue a dream and make it so? That takes talent.

I think you're ready for some dream therapy books. There are ways to craft yourself through dreams, and you might really dig it.

So long as I return to sleep before I lose the dream, I can usually finish dreaming or at least get to a better end point.

Wow, that's a strange dream. It sounds like it would make a good story, even if the part about your father and aunt passing away was really sad.

"I remember feeling bad that I didn't feel as much for my aunt, but telling myself, It's okay because he's your father. And watching my mother go to her sister first and wondering if she was telling herself, It's okay because she's your sister."

I just loved that part... it really should be used in a story.
