Ummmmm . . . most of that isn't true. You probably already know that, but I just thought I'd make sure. Also, who the hell took the time to compile these purely invented facts? (Mark Twain once said there are three types of fallacies: "lies, damn lies, and statistics" but these people are really abusing their priveledge . . . Everybody kinda makes things up to further their cause, but this would make Newsweek blush. (I offer no apologies to anyone who works for Newsweek- go kill yourselves.))
Oh, I know that these are all fabrications. Some are closer to matters of opinion general stupidity, but things like the first two examples of banning God from the classrooms and the last comment about child pornography are completely pulled out of their collective asses. Those three "examples" were the ones that inflamed me so much I had to compose an email last night.
You should see the email I sent her. I, in a somewhat restrained and civil fashion, ranted at great length. Remember, I'm taking a constitutional law class. :) Well, that and I despise stupidity.
Also, those schools that are on the list . . . Edinboro is the farthest one north, excluding those damn Canadians who need to be shot anyway cuz they keep their country too damned clean (I do apologize to the Canadians . . . go kill the guys who work at Newsweek.) Most of em are in podunk USA, the people who have the G-man (that's God for anyone who didn't get it) on speed-dial.
Holy crap! I just reread the list of towns at the top, and (aside from being horribly out of date) they're almost all (11 of 14) from red states! They're nearly all in the part of the country where religion most bleeds into state matters! Wow! And they say the "liberals" are destroying the country. Apparently, liberal "northern" policies have caused all the destruction in the "God-fearing" South, yet somehow got out nearly unscathed.
