Okay, so I'm glad they are airing new episodes. But the sheer depressingness of this episode made me give much puppy eyes. The only times I wasn't depressed: when Henry Higgins (lol!) showed that he cared by sticking around after he dropped her off, and when Walter devoted himself intensely to an Oreo cookie. Some news
I drove home from work with an abandoned plant. They no longer wanted their ficus-y trees in the store, so they were put up for grabs. (I work the night shift, so there wasn't much competition for them at 11'o'dark) I grabbed one, and took it home ( Read more... ) -
Thoughts on Fringe
I was peripherally aware of this show, but recently I have been tearing through the episodes by means of, ahem, dubious legality. Unsorted thoughts:- Walter is a tremendously frustrating character. When I'm fond of him, he does something asshole-y, when I'm mad at him, he is tremendously charming. John Noble is a freakin' genius.

Just a thought on telepathy
With all the blather in Whodom about mindreading lately, I've been pondering the subject.
I think I've never seen telepathy portrayed in a truly believable way. Girl in the Fireplace--the Doctor does his Time Lord mind meld and she just calmly goes along with it, and before you can say "Bob's your uncle" she's even figured out how to creep into his ( Read more... )
