My thought was, the ideas presented don't have any negative impact on one's faith if one is of the opinion that the divine arises gradually from the collective unconscious, fed by the believers. Or, in the case of some modern magicians, they might arise from deliberate action.
But I'm aware that "Discordian" isn't exactly the religious audience that the article's authors had in mind.
*Nod* In the review we're seeing one person's editorial take on the book. But, yes, the ideas won't be "corrosive" to beliefs like you mention - But it might to those who hold that their view is dependent solely on a Revealed Truth of some flavor?
