This is lovely! I've wondered about how it works now for Amy and Rory, having the different sets of memories.

And no, not too AU. They could always have their wedding night a couple of nights later. :D

Now that sounds like a story! The second wedding night. With balloons.

I'm intrigued by the whole memory thing too (there is another story that goes with this one on the same theme). I was so excited by the Doctor's greeting to Rory in the Lonely Astronaut, because that meant that the whole 2000 years weren't going to be ignored. And then totally fangirl gushing at a Good Man Goes to War.

Thank you so much for very kind words.

Oh this is fantastic and what a way to answer the question on how they couped with all those memories. Well Done

Thank you! Really, really glad you enjoyed it. Thank goodness for fanfic to fill in all those lovely gaps that the show leaves open...

This is adorable and surprisingly likely, really - it also makes me realise I need to rewatch the last couple of episodes from last season to reorganise the logic in my head. Also, whenever I think of River Song's timeline, it makes my head hurt. Even more so now we know who her parents are.

Gah. Timelords - they fuck with you head.

Oh yes. I would second that! I've just watched the first three episodes again, and there are little things that make different sense now - River says "my old man didn't see that did he," and I'm not sure she was talking about the Doctor any more, for example.

And timeline! More a sort of wibbly-wobbly-timey-wimey spaghetti loop thing. Yep. Head hurting now too.

Although, meant to actually say, thank you so much for the kind words, I'm really glad you liked it.

awww, this is great, I love a good hurt/comfort fic. And great explanation for how the whole alternate memories thing works, as well.

This is completely lovely! I love what you did with the different memories, and Amy and the Doctor working together, and poor, poor awesome Rory. Oh, and the dialogue is spot on!

(Also: hi! I keep meaning to read your fic on ff.net. *tries to remember to do so*)
