So this makes six weeks since I have been "down in the back" as they say in Mason county. I'm trying to get in to see a Nuerosurgery guy, but the backup is pretty fierce and meanwhile my condition deteriorates. Le sigh. More drugs, less intelligence, longer hours flat on my back with the cat on my lap.

I hope things get better soon. I'm sure your cat is pleased, though. A man flat on his back is almost an infinite lap for a cat.
