Captivating update. I really liked the way you went into Buffy's thoughts . Loved this :" What is this, some kind of extended jet lag of the soul? and I'm running scared because he might have gotten over me?.
She's unsurprisingly angry and confused and insecure about Spike's feelings .
I'm not a reader of the comics but I heard about Satsu and I appreciated what you did here , the interaction between her and Buffy was lovely and insightful.

I'm glad to know the next part is already in the works-I look forward to it.

I love the way that everything's really expanded upon in this story - even though this is just the second chapter I feel like I've seen insightful glimpses at lots of the world. I hope you continue!

Yay, thank you! It's a very interesting world, and the comics don't give us a very thorough look at it (the only issue I have with the format).

Buffy's thought processes are very different from Spike's...it was interesting to write her in juxtaposition to him.
