I'm back at home again. While I was petsitting, I got to see a series on the BBC Channel that I'd really hoped to see, "James May's Toy Stories." In this series, James May shows how many "old-fashioned" and beloved toys still have appeal and value, and in many ways can even be more exciting than...say...video games. I agree. One of the things I liked about the project besides the joyful wonder of it all was the attention to detail. For instance, James May really does play piano and he really does have a cat, both of which were thoughtfully replicated in the house. This video clip doesn't show it, but they even had working plumbing in Lego - sinks, showers, and amazingly - a toilet! It was quite an achievement.

Oh hooray! I hope Wyatt gets a kick out of it, too.

I can't comment on your other blog somehow, but I wanted to say how cute the photo of Elizabeth is, and how wonderful it is to read of her accomplishments at 6 months. She is growing and coming along so well! What a great joy she is! I remember you all in my prayers and keep wishing you well.

Hmm, Erin, I'm sorry about you not being able to comment there. I think I've opened all the settings to allow even anonymous comments. Is there a pop-up blocker setting on your browser? The comments do pop out into a different window. I wish I were more techy. :-/
