Yay - I passed my comprehensive exam!!! I'm a little bit giddy still - for those of you who are not enjoying lives of excessive academia, suffice to say that I've spent the last full year of my life preparing for this thing and now it's finally done and went pretty well, so yay!!!  Now I get to officially start working on my dissertation, which is
