"This house is clean"....

Okay, well, the brother and I are clean. The apartment is a mess.

Anyway, majority of the bills have been paid *grumble grumble* and the brother's day at work is a story of *gigglefit*-proportions.

That said: We're going to see GI Joe.

Back whenever!

And we're back.

I give the movie a 3.75. I am old school; I knew that I wouldn't be completely ( Read more... )

thud: ray park, fandom: i love movies, real life: my brother's just a lifeguard, real life: bills come from the devil, daily: saturday

OH MY GAWD! EPIC!!!FAIL

I saw GI Joe thursday night and...well...

Let's just say it had a lot of potential, and some parts were okay, but others left me repeatedly saying: reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally?

It was like somebody had watched way too many James Bond movies with the corny punch lines before they wrote this...And I LOVE James Bond movies...but this was...just ridiculous...

Hopefully your cinematic adventure is better than mine was...

I really don't enjoy going to the movies. That's because I'm really an old crone. I saw Star Trek round fourth of July, and before that? Quantum of Solace. Yeah. I go to the cinema about twice a year, usually if someone drags a kicking and screaming me…

This comment is all about me, me, me!!!!! I LOVE ME.

I think we might be better off reading GI Joe fic, eh…?

Oh I love that FINE PIECE OF A CARTOON.

Rabbit and I used to watch it all the time when we were kids. Thus began my fascination with cartoon chicks.

*gives you Swedish Fish to get rid of the bad taste*

I'm just hoping that Brendan Fraiser's character didn't die, and that he'll pop up again in the next one.

When the Cobra Commander was announcing his grand plan, I literally started giggling aloud in the theatre. It was just so ridiculous.

But hey, shirtless scenes, shirtless Channing Tatum and more Channing Tatum? I. Am. There.

LOL I realize that it would have been more epic to hear about the plan if I had watched the cartoon or whatever as a kid - but I kept laughing when he was explaining the whole plan too.

And then when he went all super evil at the end and there was all that buildup to re-naming himself and all it ends up being is: Commander. - I lost it. I had fully expected something along the lines of Darth Vader or something....
