Okay, this was a very hard decision because I actually have 2 . . . Lost and Heroes. I'm going with Lost just to be different, but honestly both hold a special place in my heart. <3
I started watching Lost because I heard that it had an amazing pilot and Dominic Monaghan was in it. I couldn't pass up seeing one of my favorite hobbits in a TV show. xD I watched Season 1 and 2 on and off. During the Christmas that Season 2 was airing, I received the Season 1 Lost DVDs as a gift and I just tore through them. By the time I was all caught up with the series as a whole, it was the end of Season 2 and Desmond was being re-introduced. I've kept up with the show faithfully ever since, even playing The Lost Experience during the S2-S3 hiatus (I even found one of the glyphs!) and chatting on Lost-TV Forum (now My-media Forum) every episode.
I will be very sad to see Lost finish up next week, but I know I will be satisfied with the story that Damon, Carlton, and the group had to tell. I am glad that Lost had its set seasons to do what it needed to unlike my other favorite, Heroes. Loosing both will definitely leave a huge hole in my life and it will be hard to find a show that is as special as both of them to me. (White Collar is being groomed at the moment however ;D )
