An awesome Hallowe'en fic! This is unsettling, but it is so cool. Charles is badass, even from beyond the grave, even when creepily giving Erik what Charles *thinks* Erik wants. And/or getting his own revenge at the same time. And/or being an evil mind controller. I can't decide!

The scariest thing about Charles is how much evil he can do with good intentions, and you've captured that perfectly.

Also, love the collective haunting. An interesting twist on the idea of possession.

Legion is a reference to David, thanks for noticing that! And also a reference to Charles being many, and, um. I may have aimed for a fic in 12 parts because of a) Charles being fractured, b) legions being a Roman thing and c) Roman fractions being a base 12 thing. Basically, I'm a nerd. >.>
