Job market is very mixed over here now. There are many places hiring programmer and pre-sales people, but for those I would need to pretend that the last years did not happen as they all look at my CV as too "high level" and worry that I would take over.
On the other hand high level positions exist, just not many of them and for some they have requirements I do not meet (was an captain or higher in the Army(but Navy and Air Force don't count) or high levels of languages I don't speak (Russian, Polish, etc).
So for now I work the market as best I can while looking to see if there is something out there that I can start from scratch (which will require funding).

How do things look for you, anyway--do you expect this to be a longish episode or something you can remedy quickly?
