AU fic. None of it is real.

Selena is Eddie's niece that got lost in the foster care system. Demi is famous, but spoiled and rather reluctant to take in her mother's husband's relative. Thanks to Yummyhippomeat for providing the inspiration to keep writing this.

I'm a few chapters ahead writing wise, but they are mid rewrites. I probably won't be able to do two updates a week every week though :/. Thank you yet again for the review and I am really glad you like it.

Now I feel bad for hating her in the last chapter. Not liking Demi's mother though. I don't think anyone with any semblance of a heart could be mean to poor Sel. She's just heartbreaking!

Depending on how it progresses, I want to try to do a chapter from every characters perspective including Demi's mom. I am really glad that you felt something for the social worker, I am trying to avoid making any of the current characters complete monsters.

i agree with yummy, i like the shifting perspectives. it was a nice touch to see the social workers regret although i do think she is a tad hard on herself. even the worst of ppl can be misleading that they are the best.

definitely keep going.

and hopefully demi looses some bitchiness. sigh lol

Demi's proving a bit difficult to write because I don't want her to be a complete bitch. She is just a teenager with very few rules and a whole lot of money.

The social worker was kind of thrown in to provide background so I am really grateful that people are sympathetic to her character. And yea, anyone can be tricked into believing the best in people.

id call demi snobby more so than anything. she believes shes better than everyone else and so far no one has challenged her. so she looks down on everyone even walks all over her mom.

and no problemo, i like reviews too, so i share the wealth :D

That's probably the best description for her, snobby. In a few chapters she will get taken down a peg or two and then hopefully I can work the two of them in the right direction.

I've got a few more written, but they are mid edit. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. It'll be depressing for a few more chapters, but eventually it'll get a little lighter.

In the end if she had gone out to visit the family everything that happened wouldn't have so it is kind of her fault. Glad you like the secondary characters. I really like to write them so fair warning that there will be more. Thank you for reading and I am really grateful for the review.
