So this weekend, my partner and I attended the Pines 69 Benefit to support the Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation, which Sara is one of the founders. Needless to say, it was AWESOME!! God, at this moment in my life, I HATE BEING A STUDENT! I'm sure I won't after a little bit, but my studies HAD to keep me from Sara Ramirez.

I'm so jealous right now.

We are students too, but our semester is over. This was our reward for working our butts off this year! I wish you the best with your studies though.

You know, I didn't ask her about what was happening on the show. I figured since I was on vacation, I wouldn't want to talk about work either. The temptation was tough, but I fought the urge! And you know Shonda has them sworn to secrecy anyway.

True, but maybe there were some news on what she might be up to besides GA? Any plans for a short Broadway engagement like Chandra Wilson perhaps? You know, stuff like that. :-)

When I told her that I didn't know if I'd get to see her on Broadway anytime soon, she seemed to agree. That gave me the impression that she wouldn't be headed that direction for a while.

By the way, we are thinking about heading back to NYC to see Chandra in Chicago! I really hope we can make that happen.

No talk about the album. Sorry. I wanted to know that too. My mind was racing so much though, it completely skipped my thoughts to ask her.
