So, Glow in the Woods is new to me, and while I wish, fervently, that I never had reasons to seek it out or know if its existence, I'm finding myself very grateful that it does exist. erica, I'm so glad you found us, although I feel the same way about the circumstances. (tired smile) You know what I love the most about your 6 by 6, aside from all your thoughtful answers? Your caveat in the beginning, saying your answers are creatures of the moment because you're still so new to this grief ( ... )

found you via your Glow in the Woods link...and clicking through to your previous entry realized just how very, terribly fresh this all is for you. just wanted to say how very sorry i am about your Teddy, your Theodore...and thank you for sharing your answers with us.

i remember, vividly, the dark early days where my prayers, such as they were, consisted of "i want him back." there are tears in my eyes, thinking of you there.

Thank you for sharing your answers so honestly, Erica.
My hearts aches for you, I am so sorry for your loss...
Like you, I do not think "heaven" is dependent on linear time. I've actually thought to myself once that I will one day, in this lifetime come face to face with my son again, and he will be a young man. Isn't that weird? I dunno why, but that thought/feeling just came to me.
Thinking of you, and sending you peace and strength.
