A kind of depressing fic... Sorry bout that...

Ok, this may be a bit depressing, but I had to write it. It's obviously based on recent events in my life. It felt good to get this out of me, though. I couldn't bring myself to write more than this, it's just too raw at the moment... Anyway, here we go ( Read more... )

I liked that movie but I was never in love with it. I appreicated it at the time, one of my co workers was big on everyone seeing it and showed us all reviews of it. Needless to say I was one of three in my office that saw it, and I was the only one that truly liked it.

Pysch and Monk I love. Monk more than Psych though honestly. I miss Sharona though. Not that Natalie is bad but... I however admittedly majority watch it for Leland because Ted Levine so talented...

and for Psych well Shawn and Lassiter they make the whole show.

At least you saw it. My mum still refuses to see it. I did get my aunt to watch it, and, like you, she didn't fall in love with it, but she did like it.

I miss Sharona too! Natalie is really starting to become her own person, but no one can beat Sharona. My fav has to be Randy. I always thought he and Sharona would get together. But, now that she's gone, he can get back to his one true love... Leland. :)

I totally agree! Shassi is, like, THE couple from the show. They would be so adorable as an on screen pair. I even wrote some slash for those guys a little while back.

A lot of people use it for some kind of gay rights piece and that probably was the biggest issue I had with it. I've seen other movies with gay people (and even real gay ones at that) I don't need a movie to form my beliefs on the homosexual community....

And that's what bothered me about it. The people who did the movie did nothing wrong they said, we're doing a movie and it's a romance- just one about two guys. It was everyone else trying to make something it wasn't out of it that got to me a bit. So I wasn't as kind to the movie as I would have been otherwise because it wasn't really the big political movie people made it out to be.

I was for the legalisation of gay marriage and/or registered partnerships with full rights (see places like Sweden) in ALL countries long before that movie and will be for a long time.

I know what you mean, I honestly wanted to see it because it had two hot cowboys making out. I'll admit it, I was being shallow. It shouldn't have been a big a deal as it was made out to be. The reason my mum won't watch it is because of the male relationship. I keep telling her it's more than that, it's these men's lives outside their relationship. It's not like it's a porno, it's a romance movie.

Again, that's a hot point between my mum and me. What does it matter what a person's gender is, if they're in love, they should be able to be married and enjoying the benefits. I hate it when people say "If we allow gay marriage, what's next? Letting people marry their dogs?" No, you fuck wads, you can't equate another human to someone's dog. This is a human being. Keep it in the species is what I say. There shouldn't be a ( ... )
