I finally watched Equestria Girls...And I was seriously underwhelmed. It was neither as horrid as some fans would have you think, but at the same time... it's just kind of there. IMHO the film lacks a lot of the charm and sly humor that appeals to adults as much as kids that is the foundation of My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic's appeal. I did ( Read more... )

Somehow I picture Twilight Sparkle as the star of an MLP-themed version of Civilization or SimCity. ;)

I haven't seen the Equestria Girls movie, so no comments thereof, but I don't see anything in your review to encourage me to do so!

It's okay if you can rent or buy it cheaply as I did. The quality of the film aside, the DVD itself is very bare-bones, which adds nothing to it.
