Now I have seen it all. On WWE Monday Night, John Cena just referenced the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode "A Dog and Pony Show". More specifically Rarity; when he was accused by another wrestler of whining, he said, "This isn't whining. Thiiiisss issss whiiining..." And started insulting the two other guys in the ring with him

They didn't take over (yet!), but they got a shout-out, which is more than I ever thought I'd hear.

It gets better in that it wasn't lampshaded. No one specifically said anything about MLP. But if you watched that episode ("Dog and Pony Show") you could not miss the reference.
