Vampire stars cannibalize other stars to maintain their youth.
Really, doesn't that sound like something Lovecraft or John Keel would write? And yet it's actually happening.
And the real problem is -- where do you get a wooden stake long enough to reach their hearts? Maybe Van Helsing needs to join the Lensmen.
