Does anyone know what this blasted "Java Virtual machine" is that keeps trying to upload onto my system when I'm online? Is it a virus or Trojan?

Very worried here

I don't download it, it downloads itself onto my system. But thanks for your words about Java.

Java Virtual machine is part of what many websites use for coding. Just go to Sun Microsystems and DL Java and you will be fine
