My mind is truly boggled. How long before holographic actors replace the real ones?

I did a little reading up on this, that's Hatsune Miku voiced by Saki Fujita ... Long after her voice gives out in real life, her VR clone may still be going strong, evidently.

Wow...that's amazing. Best of all, she'll never age, mess up on stage, be hung-over or be high on drugs.

She could get a computer virus from looking at unsafe net porn.

*snirk* I only get that reference because I owned the games from Palladium. Never even saw a single episode!

But there is a part of me that wonders what someone could do with, say, an attempt to electronically "recurrect" certain actors and actresses for particular movies.

It's already been done, sorta, with the late Laurence Olivier making an appearance towards the end of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.

I'm guessing that he "played" Doctor Death/whatever the villain's name was?

No, you never mentioned the Sologram idea before. It sounds like it's got potential.

Coulda sworn I posted this a few months ago.

It's a whole concert with a number of the Vocaloid models.

Including one where she's a catgirl?

Possibly. The whole concert had about 7 parts.
