Yoinked from Heavy Horse, here's some footage from 'Roadside Romeo':

Looks good to me; the girl dogs are cute if nothing else. I hope this will end up in the theaters over here or on DVD. May it do better then 'El Arca' did, at any rate!

The upcoming "Alpha & Omega" might make it marketable in the US...

Maybe, though many furry fans are already canning it because... well, just because, basically.

Fairly well done, although one mistake leapt out at me. Watch her hand when he twirls her around 3:00....

Okay, I saw it, though I had to look close.

But it's still amazing work when I compare it to the shudderworthy drek that you can find 24-7 on the Cartoon Network. That's when the CN actually is showing a cartoon and not some lousy live-action whatever instead.

Watching CN go the way of SciFi, er, syfy, is one reason I'm glad I gave up the dish.

I can still torrent Venture Brothers it seems.

To be honest, having and watching the flick over and over again (I'm addicted to it! =D), there are a lot of mistakes throughout. Especially spelling mistakes for the English subtitles. Yet, the flick still manages to be so much fun to watch.
The best animated sequences are parts of the "Cool Cool" song.

The only way I could purchase the flick was through Amazon.com. It's still a Foreign DVD sold in India.
Certain parts of the animation can be quirky, a bit. But the flick holds well and has a great love-story going through it. The music is extremely catchy and the characters really lovable.

On my LJ I have another version of the song "Chhoo Le Na" that's kind of a "Rave" mix and sounds really cool! =)

Thanks for the heads-up on how one can buy it.

Given that this was Yash Raj Films' first attempt at a fully CGI-animated film, some quirkiness in the animation is entirely understandable. :) (Also, it should be noted that some of the spelling "mistakes" in the English subtitling are a deliberate, if perhaps misguided, attempt to illustrate Charlie Anna's particular accent; he's meant to speak with a heavy south-Indian accent that's markedly different from most of the other characters.)

I've had copies of this for sale off my dealers' table for a couple of years now; I get mine directly from a supplier in India. Interesting that Amazon's finally picked it up.

The "rave" mix of Chhoo Le Na you refer to is off of the soundtrack CD; it's known as the "Moonlight Club Mix".

I've seen the movie. it is well done, though anything about love and relationships I just want to avoid right now...
Just tired of having my heart walked all over and used as a football...

It already made a theater run over here, apparently, though I never heard about it even though I had heard about the film before it released in India. It's also been released on DVD over here, which is how I finally saw it: http://www.amazon.com/Roadside-animation-bollywood-Indian-Cinema/dp/B0026CC9YK/ref=sr_1_1?s=gateway&ie=UTF8&qid=1285163749&sr=8-1

It's not a flawless film, but it's honestly quite good, so I highly recommend it. I've seen it twice now at a friend's house, and I plan on buying both the DVD and the soundtrack next month.
