Apparently it's for the audience who thought Megashark was too intellectual.

After reading the comments it has on YouTube, I think I have to agree.

Somebody, somewhere, has some serious issues. Like, with marine biology, cephalopod biology, vertebrate biology, reality, sanity . . . And somebody actually invested money to make this thing? I am going to faint . . .

It's being directed by Roger Corman. That should mean there will at least be some (intentional) humor to go along with the mind-blasting stupidity of it all.

The trailer itself looked like it was trying to be funny. The keyword here being "trying."

At least Corman will probably put some actual humor in it. Really, though, by this point it's like the SyFy Channel is "channeling" the spirit of Ed Wood when they make these films.

I think you're being entirely too kind to this film.

It gets worse when you consider that this film was put together by the SyFy folks after asking their fandom what they wanted to see. Maybe someone should do a survey of furrydom and ask us what movie WE want to see on the SyFy Channel.

I don't think you'd be able to show that movie on TV. >.>

Given what else they've shown on SyFy, I think you'd be surprised.
