I actually did it!

I finished my 50,00 words for NaNoWriMo.

The story's about two-thirds done (maybe more, after I go through it with a chainsaw for the editing), and it's as rough as sandpaper, but for all its flaws it is MINE.

That happens sometimes. All I can say is, do as much as you can -- and if that's nothing, then don't force it or else you'll end up hating what you write.

Good for you!

Now all you have to do is finish the story, do a second draft, do a third draft, send it to a few friends to read and re-write it again if they see any problems with it. Piece of cake.
