Hey, did any of you actually see this flick? William Shatner versus one million tarantulas!

I wonder how much they paid those people to allow those little horrors to actually crawl on them? Urrrgh... spiders. :shudder:

And just in case you wanted to see the climax:

Notice how they took great pains to NOT show the BHUUNNIES in the trailer. anonymous April 9 2009, 22:45:20 UTC
Think they'd been laughed out of the theater (and the flick would REALLY have bombed) if anybody knew in advance their monsters were giant man-eating BHUUNNIES?

(Personally, I'd take one of Dustmeat's bunny-babes for a Night of the Lepus...)

I'd prefer Brigit myself. Woof!

I think that for pure rankness, both NotL and Plan 9 have been far surpassed by the no-budget schlocktaculars that can be seen on Scinema Saturday. This is the heir to Creature Double feature? :shudder:

ROFL even MORE at Reptilicus! Those wacky Germans...

Actually, they were Danes, not Germans. The Southernmost of the Scandinavians.

Exactly what I was thinking about the poor tarantulas. Knowing so many bug lovers does start to change your perceptions on these things.

Also: The ending cribbed music from The Twilight Zone.

Well, the spiders got to eat everyone in the end, so at least they got a happy ending.

Was Reptilicus flying or gliding? anonymous April 9 2009, 22:41:36 UTC
His wings weren't moving, so more likely he was gliding.

I know Reptilicus is basically a Norse Dragon with mondo regen powers. Could Norse Dragons fly, or was that for their Central/Western European brethren?

Some Norse dragons could fly. The dragon in Beowulf (the poem, not the crappy movie) flew.

Though, really, complaining about a lack of accuracy in Reptilicus is a wasted effort.

Lost Flying Saucer I may have seen, but don't recall it at all.
Night of the Lepus! Oh, good grief! One of the dumbest flicks I have seen! My favorite scene is the Drive In Theater where the sheriff tells everyone with a bull horn that man eating rabbits are coming their way. I just LMHO on that part!X))
Kingdom of the Spiders was corny, but still kind of fun to watch. I still remember the ending scene where the survivors look out of a cellar window and see the town completely covered in spider webs. Really weird! =)

Oh, it's "Reptilicus", Not "Lost Flying Saucer". Again, I don't recall seeing that one. Though I do remember one quite like it called "Q".
