Furbid and similar sites are where furries look but they're a poor or/and stingy lot. Most listings on those sites don't get a nibble but there have been a couple of huge sales there recently ( ... )

IAWTC.

I don't know if a comic dealer like Second Ed would be willing to purchase them, but it certainly wouldn't be for $1000.

IAWTC.

Comic book dealers (like Second Ed) might be interested in buying them as well, but I doubt they'd give $1000.

I know of a comic book store in Portland that has old Command Reviews for sale for like $20 a piece, I think. I bought Crash a full set last year for Christmas. He loves Albedo. :)

Ed doesn't have the cash to tie up. His market also probably would not return the investment. He'd have to turn to auctions to recoup.

Keep in mind that not all editions of Albedo are valuable. #2 is because it had the first appearance of Usagi Yojimbo. #0 went through multiple reprints and only the first 2 are valuable (especially the one that was given to Rowrbrazzle members - only 50 of them).

Command Reviews are like Superman annuals. Reprint stuff = less value.

You and your customers have to know what is valuable and what is not before going in.

It is also important to not flood the market and drive down prices. If buyers get a sense of easy availability they will bid lower, figuring they'll get another chance.

Condition is also important. Mint is always sought after, regular VG less so.
