Still pootling about with costume bits. Went off to the V&A, which was shockingly disappointing in display, but had a good bookshop. Worked up a design for a stomacher and embroidery thereof: it is probably ridiculously over-ambitious but hopefully I can pull it off somehow. I just need to get hold of the fabric and boning, but fortunately am off
