I went to a filming of the tv show QI last night, so Stephen Frye announces there's a first time guest on and who walks out but fricking EMMA THOMPSON! I could have cried, I think only my sister will understand the magnitude of this to me! *elated*

have you seen QI? do you know what it's like? will assume you do, she did ok, i think she has to get used to the format cuz she talked over stephen fry a little sometimes and forgot to use the buzzer so didn't get heard sometimes (John Sessions was there and he sort of takes over the conversation not in a bad way but still hard for her to get a word in). She got funnier toward the end though and made Stephen scared by threatening to get naked (it was funny if you were there) so yep all in all good, although the studio was so hot i thought my head would explode (will remember to wear less clothing next time! She said she's writing a sequel to Nanny McPhee, Chris got a quick pic at the end but she's all blurry cuz we were too far away, so yep, cool trip...i couldn't explain to Chris the magnitude, remember when we used to go to the library? I wanted to cry when she walked in - chris not as overwhelmed lol
