j_dav tagged me - I told them at work, and they liked the idea :)

Pine box of brushes and oil paints, pencils and sketch books, to send to friend. I used to play at architect and I still love to have an excuse to buy and handle anything like pencils and stationery. I adore art supplies and art supply stores. If you ever come to New York, I will take you to my favorite one.

That just sounds awesome!

But this I love - I can see exactly the colour you are speaking of!

The dark blue sky deepening to black behind the trees in that evening colour that seems to come really close.
