With The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, it couldn't hold my attention and I think I fell asleep at one point.

I liked Slumdog Millionaire a lot more, I just don't think it lived up to all its hype and definitely didn't warrant winning Best Picture compared to the other films it was up against. :|

Great list! You know, people keep talking about how this year sucked for movies but I have to disagree. Maybe there were fewer really awesome films out this year, but the ones that were good were really, really good. So it was quality over quantity. It was an especially good year for science fiction and fantasy.

I completely agree. There were some fantastic movies this year and while some may disagree with that, I was thoroughly entertained and impressed throughout most of the year and that's good enough for me.

This was GREAT! I should totes do one of these. Then at least the truly worthy films/performances will get the awards they deserve -- I'M LOOKING AT YOU, OSCARS.

Hee, thanks! And yes, you should! They're fun. AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHY I DO THEM. BECAUSE THE OSCARS SEEM TO DISAPPOINT EVERY YEAR. Inglourious Basterds better win all that it deserves to.
