So mscaitlinpotter and I got together today to take some pictures. Yes, just the two of us. We had fun angling the camera and using the ten-second timer and books and bags to balance it. We pwned that camera in the face.

I am dressed up as Miss Lily Evans while mscaitlinpotter is credited for her wonderful Sev and James.

Did you guys find specially made Hogwarts outfits or did you manage to find them in the right colors just randomly? Because if so, that's AWESOME! I have a blue and gray striped scarf that I call my Ravenclaw scarf. I don't care if their colors are blue and bronze; in the movie they had blue and gray scarves and blue/bronze ain't that kickin' a color combo. ;)

Yeah, my friend has a blue and bronze scarf but now it looks like she's just a Ravenpuff. XD Blue and silver FTW.

Well, my cardigan and tie I purchased from a Harry Potter store. The white undershirt is just a regular dress shirt. The skirt I got from some school uniform website and the socks and shoes I found in a store. I also have a Gryffindor robe that came from the same store as my cardigan and tie. It was just way too hot for robes.

One For Every Year You've Known Her - Cute James/Lily fic with the disapproving parents. Not how I perceived James' parents but still a good read nonetheless.

To Save A Life - A very good fic that takes a different look and path to the prank Sirius pulled on Sev in their sixth year.

Eyes Are Blind - Short fic about Sev and Lily. Very cute.

Baby Names - Very cute fic that came out after JK released that little prequel.

Valecdictory - A one-shot fic of the night the Fidelius charm is put up and James and Lily have to say goodbye to Sirius. Very heartbreaking and well-written.

Otherwise, I suggest browsing around Unknowable Room because they have excellent fic.
