WOOHOO! Those are awesome! I need something like that for my LOTR action figures so they stop leaping off the headboard at night and attacking me. Rotten Orcs.

But where would be the fun in having action figures then?!

Sigh. I suppose you're right. And they do need the exercise. Especially the hobbits.

There can never be too many bookcases. I love the new ones from IKEA that you can fix above the door - lots of unused space so far! :-D

7 is a lot - where do you sleep?! :-D

I need those exact bookshelves - they look narrow enough to fit in a certain passage way in my hall and still let me (although maybe not anybody much wider) get past. I've run out of other bookshelf spaces and all my books are still doubled up on the shelves.

Available here in the UK, for only £ 49.00

And unlike the earlier "Billy" model, these ones don't look cheap at all and are very solid. I can only recommend them. :-) Two cats tried to climb them, and they're still standing. The bookcases, that is.

Now that I think of it, a Norringbrö would be the best solution for my naval and 18th century-related books *G*

Only a Norringbrö will do! Elegant, stylish, reliable, solid - and such a nice feel to it. ;)

I need more bookcases so bad...I still have boxes of books unopened from the move 3 years ago. And books have a tendency to multiply like rabbits around here.

Want Ikea meatballs now...

I've kept all my children's books, and they are stored in four large boxes on the attic. Should I ever live in a place where I have enough space, they'll come out. And that's only the CHILDREN BOOKS!

My dream is having a real library. One of those wonderful 18th century ones, with a gallery and stairs and... *sigh*

I am badgering Hubby to turn the tiny one-car garage downstairs into a library. It won't be big, but it would be so nice to have my books out again!

I finally got rid of the boxes of old children's books when I moved across the country few years ago. The kidlet couldn't use them because they were all in Korean. I only kept a few. It was sooo hard, but at least it went to a good cause. The books went to the children's group at the local Korean church.

That's a fantastic idea! If you have such a room and it could be doable, go for it! I might fit a shelf underneath the window sill in the wintergarten, but as the house is very old, everything is aslope, and I'm doubting my talents as a carpenter... I might give it a try, anyway.

It must have been hard to part with the books, but if you gave them away for a good cause, it's different than just throwing them away.
