I read both of these stories all the way through in one sitting for the first time! (If that doesn't indicate to you how awesome I thought they were then I'll just have to cut myself until you believe me!) J/K, these were neat, I have no idea why I never got to them when you first posted them...I must have been being lazy again!

Those were among the very first stories I ever wrote in the POTC fandom - or rather, it was an original story that I adapted for the POTC fandom. I had about - heh - five readers or so back then. :-) These are the stories which have partially been included in my book, so as soon as that one goes into publishing, the stories go offline. So I'm VERY happy that you liked them! :-D
