RingCon has officially confirmed the first guest for this year's RingCon, which will be held from October 12 - 14 at the Esperanto Hotel in Fulda/Germany.

Thanks for the birthday wishes - kind words are never late. And my day was nice - peaceful and comfortable (ten years ago that would have really depressed me, now it felt good)

I'm SavioBriion on ArchiveOfOurOwn, and I've been reading your ACOTER series and laughing like a maniac. I absolutely adore your characterisations of Erestor and Glorfindel and the rest! It also took me a while to hunt down Elf on a Shelf, I think you mentioned it in an author's note but didn't link to it, and Googling it just led me to Christmas decorations. I've also been reading your Yuletide Tales, though I haven't had the time to sit down and read Finding Namo.

Anyway, I just wanted to express my sheer love for your fics, and ask if I may add you as a friend? :)

Aw, thank you! :-) Very glad you had fun with my little tales; great to hear they are still read and make people laugh after all this time (and yes, the next chapter for the new ACOTER will be up soon, promised!)
