I watched POTC too yesterday and she said "Turner". Is it possible that they dubbed the movie twice? But I really never ever encountered such a thing before. I am dead certain tho, that she said Turner.

Very odd.

I watched it on ORF1 (no commercial breaks, yay!) twice, and it was "Elizabeth Carlyle" every time. VERY odd.

LOL now I am thoroughly confused because I watched ORF 1 as well and could have sworn that she said Turner. I guess I was half asleep then, lol.

Waaaah! Heh, Miss C. also heard "Carlysle". Maybe we've both been distracted by Barbossa...

Ha! At least now people will understand why I REFUSED to watch PoTC2 in German cinemas! There simply is no way I'm going to suffer through this.
*twitches*

I admit it I'm shallow: I watched it twice, just for the... visual effects. Yep. Special effects and all that. Set decoration. Cinematography. Yo.

Hehhe....

In the original, Norrington says something along the line of "a short fall and a quick stop" when he tells young Elizabeth about his intentions how to treat pirates. It's the (in my opinion) most idiotic translation they could find... "Oh shock, terrible pain, a quick death" - and I added "yes, for the public *shudder*"

In German, he has the most hideous voice EVER. I have to find a wav of it. You'll puke. :D

Hi to Becky!
