The rest of Europe had a narrow escape this year, as a drag duo with lots of attitude, but no singing voices almost won here! The winner wasn't *so* bad, actually, if boring. (The name was "Elf-dance" or something like that, actually *g*) With a touch of folk music and even a "Haring" fiddle. Oh well.
I think the Eurovision song contest is Cursed. Even if normally ok artists participate, all talent is instantly drained out of them.
But my Eurovision All Time Favourite was German!

I appeciate all the info on the German bands. It's such a shame that music not in English doesn't sell here and is hard to get. I've always enjoyed non-English music, starting with my love for traditional Celtic folk music. Thank goodness for satellite and internet radio or I'd never hear much of it.
