Awww, I do love your cats! Everything looks lovely - and I meant to ask, did you ever get those pink flowery lights that Elrond protested about so much in Covent Garden?! Gil thinks they'd look lovely in the room with your new drawer-seats

Hope you're feeling a bit better

HAHAHAHAHA! luckily, we were both totally broke, so I was spared the pink flowery horror. I only pray to the valar that they are all sold out next time we're in london... ;-)

eh, I'll be up and running soon again. one day's good, another's bad. I ignore the first and enjoy the later. ;)

I love your bathroom - what a great idea. Mine is like yours was - white and dull, dull, dull.

Love the 60's chair. I remember that from when I was small. It's in amazing condition.

thank you so much for sharing. hope you feel lots better very soon...am working on another pressie for you!

yes, I love my kitties. especially max, I could cuddle him all day. unfortunately, he HATES to be cuddled! :-D

the bathroom was a lot of fun. I'm not finished, though. there is a special paste you can buy to seal the tiles, then you can paint over them. rather pricey, but I guess I'll do it. then I will paint the tiles red and add some sea-shells and mosaique-stones. mmmm...

I love the chair as well. if ONLY I COULD USE IT! right now, two cats are sleeping on it. it's NOT fair. I hope I find a second one soon...

thank you, taelle! I have a lot of fun painting and decorating, so I find something new to do every day. next on the list is a mosaique floor for the bath...

Sounds interesting... though difficult. Me, I'm mostly limiting my decoration efforts but trying not to buy *all* of IKEA... ;)

Congratulation for your bathroom! It is very original. Anyway, bathrooms are very depressing in Italy too..

Your cats are really beautiful! May I ask you if you took them all at once or in differen times?
We have to amazing 4 years old cats that we love (and spoil) in a shameful way and we'd like to take one or two more, possibily stray, but I fear that my two babies would not take any "new entry" very well. If you can give me a little advice (but ONLY when you have time) I'd apreciate a lot.

Thank you in advance.

haha, yes, I know italian bathrooms! :-D eh, I guess it's the same everywhere.

no, we did not get the cats all at the same time. one followed the other. some years back, me, claudi, mäkka (the cartoonist) and another friend shared a whole house. all in all, we had 13 cats there. when our ways separated, each took their cats with them.

it is actually rare that cats absolutely don't get along with a newbie. if you have two ladies, you might want to get yourself a tom cat, or the other way round. he'd be accepted more easily. it takes some patience. mine needed months to get accustomed with max, and now they love him to bits. I'd recommend that you ask a friend to come along with her/his cat for a visit, then you can see how your babies react. :)

Thank you so much sweetie! This was very helpful.

Unfortunately I have a boy and a girl, brother and sister, and the boy is... a little bit sociopathic (hubby says psychopatic). Once he almost evirated our friends' yorkshire.
Maybe I should try with a Rotwailer befor attempting to some friends's cat virtue.

Have a nice and relaxed weekend

I've always had a thing for colorful bathrooms. My favorite was my first apartment. I painted the walls bright blue and had fishies on my towels, showercurtain and bathmats. Loved it!
Cute kitties. My college roomie had a cat who would shove his paw under the door and jiggle it until you let him in. Didn't matter where you were or what you were doing. If the door was closed, it got jiggled. Drove me nuts. LOL!

oh yes, sea-style bathroom, that's fantastic! I spend a lot of time in the bathroom, as i love bathing. I lit candles, burn some essences... bliss! so white-in-white is a no-go.

hehe - jiggly cat. they can be very persistent! and funny enough, in the end the always get what they want. dictators!
