How hawks see the world... (sic)

Yeah, I have a lot of other updates to do, but for now... someone passed this video on to me, but unfortunately it has no embed function. It's a video from the BBC in which they put a camera on the back of, first, a peregrine falcon, and then a goshawk, and filmed the birds-eye view of their flights. hawks, nature

Amazing views. It kind of makes me tear up to see that. Birds are so cool.

Wow. I've heard that because birds' eyes are so much more powerful than ours, a movie looks like a slideshow to them. So to the bird, I guess that flight would look much slower than it looks to us. No wonder they can pluck up stuff off a hillside in midflight. Wow.
