That icon scared the crap out of me! I thought for a second that Tom had gotten wind of my sentiments and had come over here to weigh in!

I had to re-read that little paragraph with me in it a few times to make sure that the girl that you thought didn't like you wasn't me! Not that I'm so full of myself to think that you were smitten, but that I wanted to make sure that you didn't think that I didn't like you! Wow, that was wordy.

All I'm saying is, I'm glad you never thought that I didn't like you! I'm glad you look happy these days!

Sorry. :-p I re-read it several times to make sure it didn't sound that way, too, and concluded that it was okay. But I guess I should have been more clear.

I think of LJ as personal space but Facebook and Myspace more voyeuristic - and Facebook more voyeuristic than Myspace. I like adding people I knew from way back when, regardless of whether we were friends or enemies, just to see if they will add me back. No one lives or dies by online profiles, so I don't think much of them. My journal I'm pretty protective of, especially now (I don't allow even friends to speak to me about things particularly dear to me, like my family.)
