Ere's Yearly Stats and Analysis
This year's stats
Last year's stats, for comparison:
Minor analysis time. I've been playing for about five years now. (slightly more, but pretty close) So, it may be interesting to assume that last year's stats represent four years of playing. If we divide last year's stats by 4 (which gives an average yearly stat) and compare it to the difference between this year and last year, then we'll see if what I've done in this past year was normal or not. Sure there were breaks here and there, but it should generally even out in the end.

Chat frequency
4 year average: 110693 yearly, 303 daily
Previous year: 57271 yearly, 157 daily
This year compared to the average: 52%
Wow. That's a pretty big drop there. This previous year I said about half the stuff to other players that I have said over the average of the last four years. Not too shocking when I think about it though; I do most of my talking on ventrillo now and rarely feel all that compelled to take to many people in my linkshell.
Conversation with NPCs

Talking to NPCs is up. I think I've done less quests and missions this year than previous years though. It's probably all those annoying little cutscenes they make me do to transport around. OP guy, assault, nyzul, and salvage permits, runic portals. I've been getting progresively busier with how I transport rather than just teleporting everywhere like I used to do on WHM. I wonder if talking to the moggle to job change counts.

Strangely dead on with the average over the last four years. I thought I was doing more little events with friends and ls more than I have in the past, but apparently not. Though, it's parties joined, not time in parties or something, since I tend to join a party and then not disband it before the next thing on the agenda starts.

Previous year: 349 yearly, 0.96 daily
This year compared to the average: 128%
Parties joined is the same but alliances joined is way up? Odd. Well, I guess every dynamis, limbus, salvage, and sky and sea farming is an alliance fight. Salvage is probably the one that skewed the average like it did, since instead of joining exp parties or something else that is six-man I'd join a salvage alliance.
Battles Fought
4 year average: 14319 yearly, 39 daily
Previous year: 28551 yearly, 78 daily
This year compared to the average: 199%
Holy shit. I've fought DOUBLE the battles this previous year than in years prior while still joining about the same number of parties? I'm pretty sure this stat counts battles on WHM where I never engaged but was still in the same party, so I can't even blame being on the back lines this time. This has to be Nyzul and Salvage's influence, since those events involve the destruction of really weak mobs very quickly. But still, that's a massive jump. This one totally blows me away.

Previous year: 549 yearly, 1.5 daily
This year compared to the average: 136%
Not terribly shocking. In previous years I went BRD and WHM to a lot of stuff and those jobs don't die much, but now I've branched out into jobs like WAR and BLM that are in the fire more. Plus campaign deaths probably count and I've never really fretted about those. Plus AXI Einherjar - hell, that probably counts for like 80 of this year's deaths alone in the 35 runs I went to. Ugh.

Previous year: 10340 yearly, 28.3 daily
This year compared to the average: 214%
Once again this is my long playtimes as WHM and BRD bringing down the averages. Since I played as much of the previous year as I could on BLU, WAR, and BLM, I would have been really suprised if I hadn't broken 200% this year.

Well, the future is too turbulent for me to predict if I am going to be here in an other year, as I've eaten my words saying both "yes" and "no" many times before. So I guess we'll just have to see what happens.
