Baltic Amber teething necklaces?

Ok. So I read a bit on them, and see how they work- they release an oil- succinate- when touching the warmth of skin. But how are these safe for little babies to wear? Especially ones that put everything into their mouths

They aren't long enough for them to put in their mouths. And those that do grab them and yank - the necklace is designed to break with force and each bead has a knot in between, so they won't scatter if baby breaks the string.

I've had two babies now who've worn them (Bennett still wears his at 7 months) and after a few days of having it on, he doesn't even notice it anymore. When he does, I can easily avert him from grabing it cuz it's not easy for him to pull out and see, kwim?

The first two times Sabrina wore hers, she slept a lot! Must've made her more comfortable. Either that or a weird coincidence.

How does the releasing of the oil work? I obviously havent had a teether in a while and I just always assumed they were for chewing on, and I wondered the same thing about safety!
