Wow!  I just got my 2nd Jehovas Witness visit in a year.  This time they left 2 brochures: Awake! (headline: Shoplifting: The Price We All Pay) and a handy issue of the Watchtower (headline: Work: A Blessing or a Curse?).  Last time the guy seemed nervous about leaving one-I think he knew it was headed for the round file.  This time I was too busy

In Arcata we lived near one of their churches? and got a lot of visits from them. I got all sorts of literature, including a book about how to be a good wife and have a good marriage. I was highly amused. I wonder where I put that book, I should share some of their advice... ;)

this one has an article entitled, "Young People Ask... How Should I treat a Girl Who Shows Interest in Me?" a photo showing a guy giving flowers to a girl (who looks like she's allergic to them from the look on her face) has the caption "If you are not really interest, be careful that you do not send the wrong signals" looks like they've been reading "He's just not that into you" and have decided to persue the matter from a their unique viewpoint. lol.

Useless but funny. I love the photorealistic illustrations. Those make stupid people believe the text, I think.

If you actually know what the Bible says and point out where the Watchtower is wrong, they WILL go away and not come back...

I know quite a bit about the bible (enough to frustrate most knock knock religious types), but I have this memory problem wherein if I get nervous or excited, I get off track and start rambling..

Now, if I could find my copy of Ken's Guide to the Bible I'd be all set, but alas, it's somewhere in the basement. Though I did run across Wendal, His cat, and the Progress of Man which quite a few people may be getting from me for the retail holiday season this year. So if anyone sees this and already has it, you may want to speak up now before you receive a 2nd copy.
