Independence

I finally watched Independence Day. To be perfectly honest, it was less pathetic than I had thought, because I had imagined these enormous scenes with sentimental speeches and flags and all that stuff you normally find in disaster movies. You've been in that apartment all the time that I have known you. It will be odd to think of you as writing from a different room than the one I have seen pictures of.

We're moving, too. In about 5 weeks we will be separating our stuff from our roommate's and hauling across town to a smaller place that is closer to where I work, and right by where Warren goes to school (he is in Massage Therapy school now).

I sort of dread it, but it will be wonderful to be on our own again.

I hope you find a marvelous place downtown that will make a home to you and the things that are important to you.

I never got that whole moving thing. I'd like to move every day if I wasn't so damned lazy, but luckily I am. It's like a Catch 22, but one that I welcome. I've lived in 6 different houses/apartments in my life, so far. That's like 4 too many, but I don't regret it.

Anyways, Independence Day, eh? Being a science fiction fan, I must say that that movie sucks. I just hate the fact that Will Smith will be playing in "I,Robot" based on the Asimov robot-stories. Is there no justice in the world? I also think "The Day After Tomorrow" sucks, but I haven't seen it yet, so I'm gonna wait.

Btw, my tummy wants pizza!
