My mom borrowed $100 from me this weekend because her child support didn't go through in time. Afterward she asked if I planned on buying Kim a ring by the end of the summer, and I said it depended on finances. Wow. That was a busy summer. One of my summer classes is wrapping up and the other is at about midterm.

I don't understand how people can allow things to get so ...gross in their homes, especially around someone else's things. Ick.

here is a very simple, pretty ring that my cousin's hubby bought her when they got married. its nothing fantastic, but on her, its freaking gorgeous, and she said it wasnt super expensive.

its a simple white gold band with 7-8 medium sized diamond chips in it.

But that type of ring, anyone would look pretty wearing :)

It is gorgeous. I finally got to see it when we went to breakfast together at IHOP when she came home from Maryland. She said it wasnt expensive, but it was very simple and elegant and she loved it for those reasons.

reading some of your most recent entries, i realized that i have no clue what is going on or where to begin asking questions. who is kim? who are travis and hannah? i see that they are engaged, but how are they associated with your mother? how old are you? what year are you in college? i hope these questions are okay to ask. i'm just trying to catch up. :)

wow, your last summer sounds crazy! you say it's not impossible but geez, i'm not sure i could ever do that much and not feel miserable.

Kim is my girlfriend, we're talking about getting married. I'm going into my senior year of college but I'm going straight into grad school. Travis is my mom's boyfriend of the past two years. We just moved out of his house because his 12 year old daughter, Hannah, went nuts. My journal is only two months old, I'll see if I can find an entry that explains things better :)

oh wow, i definitely misread hannah and travis' relationship! but thank you for explaining. i definitely understand better now and i am happy for you and kim! marriage is so exciting and it's such a relief to have found the right person.
