I love the question in the end. I love how things never seemed to change between them, with all the chasing and all the fighting, yet how change caught with them, as when Naruto asked when Sasuke got taller. I found it... bittersweet. And nostalgic.

It's the perfect drabble for nostalgia's sake.

And reading the summary made me sad. With all of Naruto's cheerfulness and optimism, he's really a sad character.

I suppose it is more bittersweet than outright angst. I tend to write the way I 'm feeling, and since I was feeling old...I guess that's how it turned out...:D

know what you should write a fic with all of your favorite cliches/ weird sayings crammed into one story. and the result would either be hilarious and witty or it would suck YOU SHOULD DO IT.
i think it would be a good challenge of sorts
making lame stuff sound awesome

but now that i think about it, that probably wouldnt be a good story
maybe you could pull it off. perhaps maybe possibly it could happen.
